Closed on this lovely property, yesterday. May 24th. Showed my clients over 30 properties. The dynamics on this deal changed quite a few times and there was a chance that my clients may have purchased in North Carolina after working very diligently. My task was to show my clients how living in Hampton Roads would be a better choice for them, both economically, culturally, and for practical reasons. That is why being a Real Estate Agent is an arduous effort. There is always that chance that with all the hard work you do, a deal can fall through.
What also made this deal close successfully was my choosing of a dedicated, experienced and truly professional mortgage loan officer (and I work with quite a few) who let me know at a moment’s notice if there are any roadblocks towards closing, at anytime, day or night and to correct as soon as possible! So, so important!
In all my transactions, concerning all entities involved, from the loan officer to the home inspector, to the closing company, and even the co-broker, — I consider a team, communicate with them daily, praise them when they do well (as I hope I am doing good as well) to lead to a successful closing and a win-win situation for all!
